I've been wishing for some time that I could protect certain folders, so I was glad to come across this product. Two things disappoint me: One, the folders that are password protected stick out like sore thumbs b/c of the icon change and b/c of the permanent note or notice that the folder is a protected one. I wish that weren't the case. Two, I wish I didn't have to relock the folders each time I open them. That wastes time and means I'll probably sometimes forget to do it, which defeats the purpose of having such protection.

Opinion. Not good, couldn't use it, kept crashing and would not reopen passworded folder. Looking for way to individually password swf files.

I guess they dropped it because people would forget their pass word. I have a new computer with Vista. If you know where I can download the Microsoft program, I would appreciate it.

FlashCrypt This is a very easy to use program that does exactly what it says on the tin. Select the folder to encrypt, right click and select encrypt folder. Then enter your pasword and the folder is encrypted. To unlock double click and enter password. It's a free program, interface is good. You can copy encrypted folders to other disks, but you do need the program installed on the pc to decrypt a folder.
